Fatigue


One of those vague terms that is part of many conditions, affecting every day life. It is likely that all have suffered from fatigue at some point in their life, whether through over work, increased stress, lack of sleep, malnourishment, a constant state of weariness over time will reduce your state of energy, motivation and concentration.

Common conditions with fatigue include anemia, anxiety, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic infections, kidney disease, depression, diabetes, COPD, grief, heart disease, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, obesity, pain, sleep apnea, stress, inflammatory bowel disease, intoxication (food, medications, lifestyle, environment), etc.

How we treat fatigue naturally:

Due to the commonality of fatigue, we will take a thorough history, assess lifestyle habits that includes diet, exercise, sleep, detoxification of the body, medications/supplements, mental/emotional state and lab work to determine what is contributing to the fatigue. Based on the source identified, we will address the concern of fatigue with lifestyle changes; address emotional concerns (lack of motivation, depression, inability to concentrate, anxiety, etc.) with herbs, homeopathy, the Emotion Code, acupuncture; overall working in conjunction with the body to restore proper and optimal function.
In most cases with fatigue or other chronic conditions, we will incorporate a cleansing plan prior to initiating any long term treatment to rid the body of any physical obstacles (toxins) that impede greater function as well as improve the assimilation of changes once the plan begins.
