Body, Mind & Spirit

The body is nothing without the mind to govern it. The mind cannot take action without help from the body. And the mind and body are both motivated by the spirit within each of us. This is the essence of the holistic approach we take to medicine. We won’t focus on just one aspect of your health. Focusing on the symptoms alone is not a long term solution to your overall wellness. We believe in focusing on the cause of your symptoms and we strive to reach to the root of the problems you may be facing.

Virtually No Side-Effects

Million dollar class action lawsuits are brought seemingly everywhere when it is discovered that a pharmaceutical company mislead the public and pushed its untested products onto the medical market. Even their own television ads warn that their products could cause death or other serious side-effects. There’s a better way to treat. Natural medicine has been around since the dawn of time. It may not be glossy or patentable, but natural medicine tried and tested over the labyrinth of time.

True Medicine

Over the past few decades we have been conditioned to believe that the practice of medicine involves meeting with your doctor for 15 minutes or less, being prescribed a pill and rushed out of the office like cattle. It was not always so! And we are committed to helping restore the values of true medicine. We generously schedule our appointments so that we can give each of our patients the time and energy that true medicine demands. We promise that you will start feeling better after the first appointment.

What is Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine combines modern medical science with the natural laws of healing to maximize the road to health. Enabling the inherent ability of the body to restore and maintain optimal performance, Naturopathic Doctors have the ability to promote optimal health results.

Naturopathic doctors use science and conventional medical techniques to understand the symptoms and causes of particular diseases and then apply powerful and natural treatments to promote healing while minimizing damage to the body. Instead of just managing a disease that gets worse over time, these treatments address not only the symptoms, but the underlying causes behind the disease, all while maintaining the health of the body.

What is a Naturopathic Doctor

Naturopathic doctors (NDs or NMD) are experts in natural medicine and natural health care. In states where Naturopathic Medicine is regulated, Naturopathic Doctors are licensed family physicians able to practice medicine, as well as diagnose and treat all medical conditions.

Qualifications of a Naturopath

Naturopathic doctors undergo rigorous training similar to common medical (MD) and osteopathic physicians before receiving their license. Naturopathic medical schools are 4-5 year graduate schools with requirements comparable to other competitive medical schools.

Dr. Leah Albornoz-Sanchez

From a young age I have always had a keen interest in helping people feel well. Likewise I have always been fascinated with nature and the bodies ability to fight off illness and disease. Natural medicine was the natural choice as it allowed me to merge two of my greatest passions into one.
As naturopathic medical student, I went through 5 years of rigorous training before officially becoming a naturopathic medical doctor. My training helps me to treat and diagnose a wide range of ailments through a holistic approach. Side effects for natural medicine are minimal and the results speak for themselves.
Our first appointment will generally be the longest. Understanding your medical history is key to unlocking the cause of your pain and suffering. Follow up appointments are generally shorter, but I make every effort to treat the causes of your symptoms at every appointment.
